There is something beautiful about beginning a new season with purpose and creativity. It allows the mind and body to shift and reset, establishing the kind of foundation that leaves a person open to all that was meant for them. Fall is one of my very favorite seasons because of the level of reflection and invitation that seems inherent as leaves shift from the vibrance of summer to the wild splashes of color that dance in the cooling breeze.

It is with this mindset, this heart for reflection and creation, that we invite you into our very first writing challenge.

Each day in October, we’ll be sharing cozy, fall-inspired prompts to help you write, reflect, and maybe even cultivate a piece for our upcoming 4 Seasons Collection – Fall Edition.

To Join the Wildly Free October Writing Challenge:

Then…

Step 1: ENGAGE
Like and/or comment our daily challenge post or story on Facebook, Instagram, or TikTok. Bonus points for every friend you tag or inviting your own followers to join! 

Step 2: WRITE
Make some space in your day (5–10 minutes or more!) to respond to the day’s prompt in your journal or an online space where you’ll keep track of your writing.

• Any format: story, poem, essay, sketch, journal entry
• Any genre: heartfelt, spooky, funny, reflective
• Any style: your creativity, your rules
  Find your space, breathe it in, and let your voice bend and weave an sing through the magic of the season!

Step 3: SHARE
1. Post your piece on your own social media!

–> add the #OctoberWritingChallenge hashtag 

2. Reply directly to our challenge post or story with your creation.

3. Consider entering your writing as part of our 4 Seasons Collection!

Step 4: WIN Every time you share, you’re entered to win! Wildly Free Publishing will draw 1 winner for every 10 participants during each week of the challenge. The more people who write with us, the more prizes will be given away.

• Prizes will be given away each Friday of October, so there will be 5 sets of winners!

No matter what level you choose for your participation in this challenge, simply saying yes to yourself, showing up in a creative space to write, and engaging in writing of all sorts is an incredible win.
